 Hughes Needs Time to Sparkle
Manchester City fans, in general are some of the nicest and most patient fans you ’ll find.
They loved Sven for what he acheived on the pitch and the success he brought them after the disastrous Stuart Pearce era. Sadly City ’s Abu Dhabi owners probably wouldn’t fit in that demographic- they’re businessmen.

Though if they consider themselves to be shrewd at what they so, they may just take a glance over Hughes ’ old club. Languishing in 18th, a side that used to be feared under Sparky as a difficult place to go, who can forget last season when they put the frighteners up Man Utd ’s title charge? This season they were rolled over by an off-form Red Devils outfit.

Make no mistake if Hughes is allowed to bring in his own players in January (a collossal defender may just top that list), City will shine and this Brazilian bitching will soon cease. Let ’s just hope that for the sake of the Premier League’s credability that Mr. Hughes is given at least a full season to work his magic. CM
EPL Week 13 Results
Bolton Wanderers 0-2 Liverpool Chriso said 0-2 (3 points)
What, you didn’t think they were gonna slip up here did you Mark Lawrenson? Liverpool are genuine contenders this season.

Arsenal 0-2 Aston Villa Chriso said 4-1 (0 points)
Their fourth loss to what they would certainly consider inferior opposition and with the form of Chelsea and Liverpool, Arsenal are certainly making it hard for themselves.

Blackburn Rovers 1-2 Sunderland Chriso said 1-1 (1 point)
Could Blackburn’s gamble with Ince send them down? 18th is not where they’d want to be but it’s tight. Overdue Sunderland win.

Fulham 2-1 Tottenham Hotspur Chriso said 1-3 (0 points)
Redknapp must be counting the days to the transfer window when his mandate will surely rhyme with trolltreeper. Fulham acheive some unexpected consistency... with back-to-back home fixtures.

Manchester United 5-0 Stoke City Chriso said 3-1 (1 point)
And don’t they just always hit form at the right time?

Newcastle United 2-2 Wigan Athletic Chriso said 2-0 (1 point)
Harsh on Wigan but League luck is not exclusive or permanent.

West Ham United 0-0 Portsmouth Chriso said 0-0 (3 points)
Unsurprising outcome- both teams struggling at present.

West Bromich Albion 0-3 Chelsea Chriso said 0-2 (2 points)
It was always unlikely to be any other way, Tony Mowbray’s men won’t spend too much time pondering about this one.

Everton 1-1 Middlesbrough Chriso said 3-2 (0 points)
Close one this but a fair result all in all.

Hull City 2-2 Manchester City Chriso said 2-3 (1 point)
Well if Geovanni had scored with his third crack there would’ve been trouble. More points dropped for City and Hughes.
Total- 12/30, consistency is the key...
