Every year football nobodies and general loons like Ian Wright tip Liverpool for the League and year after year I wonder why. Yes they have good players but not enough. The addition of Robbie Keane should prove fruitful, but I would hardly say that’s the missing link. Surely the simple solution is staring the Pool right in the face– Rafa can win the Champions League but not the Premiership– so bring in someone for the League matches and get Rafa in on Wednedays– it’s not like Liverpool are strangers to the idea of dual power! If they do win it, I’ll eat my humble pie (and check I’m still awake). If not, please let it be the end of the 20-points-off-the-pace also-rans!
