This is of course with the exception of the likes of Sandy (BB3) who scaled the walls due to extreme boredom– such housemates have my blessing– been in, tried it, exhausted it. Maysoon looked boring, was boring, added nothing to the house and then left due to being homesick– absolutely unacceptable in my book, and a complete insult to the thousands who don’t get picked. Of course there’s nothing the producers can do, and they must be spitting feathers when the likes of Rachel produce a performance like that on audition and then barely wake the chickens when they do go in. On a brighter note I would like to congratulate BB for taking a stand against those dopey coded discussions. Never in seven years of BB viewing have I seen such a half-arsed attempt to discuss the votes. It just shows you that when you’ve been in the House that long, you do lose the reality of the occasion. Either that or they’ve all lost their marbles (perhaps didn’t have much of a collection to begin with). Effectively that move, thus nominating seven extra (and at least four more deserving) housemates has saved the show, in theory of course. In practice the daft voters will probably all aim for the most interesting ones left (and believe me you have more chance of a new scoop on Max Moseley than that). I think out of the remaining, the only sensible thing to do would be to vote out those who contribute the least so I’m sorry Ms. Rice, the fact that the likes of super- bore Imogen Thomas are supporting you just elevates your mundane status. Not forgetting of course that one week’s desperate over-acting doesn’t make up for a show’s worth of dull sins. Make the right choice.
