Text Box: Text Box: Text Box: Thursday 28th August 2008 You Can’t Teach a Dull House New Tricks Well that will go down in BB folklore as the worst live segment ever. Seriously BB needs to give up, you can’t make an omelette without eggs and you damn well sure can’t make this set of housemates interesting. It all started off as a rather good idea– get them to all nominate each other face-to-face and watch the sparks fly, except in this house, 30kg of TNT couldn’t get a decent explosion. Boring, dull and predictable, HM’s did the usual, voting the most genuine HM’s, quite ironic how Kat never got one nomination– that should tell you all that you need to know. So BB sent to the Task Room, two best mates and desperately tried to convince them to double-cross each other in the ‘Prisoner’s Dilemma’ game. There was no way the two friends were going to deceive one another and so ended a disastrous live show. I can only suggest that the best thing for those in charge to do now is just to let them fight amongst themselves and let the show pass us all by– one which has been doing just that ever since the Dream Team of Luke, Bex and Mario were cruelly disbanded. You just pray that the bosses will watch back through the show and realize that this “coincidence” happens every year- the voting format MUST be changed. So back to rather sleep-inducing matters at hand, the “final eviction” is between Sara and Lisa, and I don’t really think you need me to tell you who’s facing the BB Boot. The only thing that I will say is that it is conceivable that the bullying Sara received Monday night could swing the odds in her favour on the sympathy vote, but then again, I do wonder whether anyone was still watching. So finally congratulations to Sara and Lisa for staying true to each other and themselves, however the lack of adversity, and Sara I hope you’ve decided what to spend your £25k on!
