Text Box: Text Box: Text Box: Thursday 21st August 2008 BB pulls out all the stops to spark some interest in the ailing show with yet another fantastic task idea, year after year they just don’t get enough credit for these inventive and mostly entertaining ideas. Also on the “shock” subject, Nicole is unsurprisingly up for the boot sparking the most insincere quote of the season (excluding Kat and cookies of course) “Of course I want you to stay (Rex)”. I somehow don’t think Sara and Lisa have too much to worry about and I’m sure they were quite pleased to be read out next to Lady Silver Spoon. If ever an eviction certainty loomed, this is it. Speaking of the bookies, apparently the favourite top 3 has yet again been altered with the highly satisfying news that Darnell, Mikey and Rachel lead proceedings. As much as I may like to subscribe to that happy deliria, unfortunately one must remember their daily pinch of salt must be applied to turf accountants speculating on BB publically to encourage flutters. I reiterate– if Kat doesn’t win I’ll eat my hat. Next week will see a surprise double eviction which would assumingly mean that nominations will not occur next week and all the housemates’ necks will be on the line. If that be so, bet your house that Mo and Sara will follow the sulky one out the door having shall we say, an exclusive fanbase, and rightly so. Should it be the HM’s deciding then likely candidates include Rex, Lisa and Rachel– let the tactical voting commence! I’m hoping that the likes of The Jacko task and the simmering tension between Rex/Nicole and Mikey, added to the loose cannons Mo and Darnell will set the scene well for a fiery end to the show, though I’m not holding my breath.
