FINALLY the public get it right!
I’ll tell you what, I nearly fell off the sofa in shock– after nearly three months of being completely taken in, it would appear Joe Public has grown some brain cells. For last night in the surprise Tuesday Eviction, justice was well and truly done.
It was a tale of two halves. One contestant who should go down in history as the most unworthy and pointless nobody who got far too far and one who managed to fool the public for nearly three months– not the BB Blog at ChrisOnline of course, but most people! You have to feel a bit sorry for her in retrospect, had the show been its original length– she undoubtedly would have won. But she picked the wrong year.
Mo’s interview was so bad it was untrue. He didn’t even have anything to do with Bully Gate but yet that’s all Davina was bothered about asking him. And why not? He doesn’t have anything else to say.
Kathreya on the other hand, well I didn’t think she was going to come out at first! After what was probably the longest stay of execution, she finally emerged crying, the mask had slipped, it was embarrassing to watch. Cue the adverts, which was probably not the 3 minutes we were led to believe on what was advertised as a Live Eviction, Kat had put her “happy-face” straight back on, cried when showed clips of Rachel and led an impromptu clap-a-long to playground classic ’If You’re Happy and You Know It’- it was polished stuff from a lady with a background in television.
I suppose I can’t complain too much, as dopey as the public are, they finally got it right when it mattered but are now making a scapegoat out of Upper Street’s finest, Darnell Swallow. I can’t honestly believe that people who watch the show on a regular basis are witnessing anything surprising. Just as Rex likes to say nasty things to people’s face, well so does Darnell. I don’t really think honesty is a trait to alienate in a show as traditionally laden with fakers as this, but I guess there always has to be a bad guy.
Garry Bushell emphasized the need for the ’Anyone but Mikey’ campaign and sadly it looks like this justified gathering will fail and the blind Scottish “comic” will scoop the loot. I don’t think much of Mikey but he has at least given everything to the experience, unlike the two female representatives left in. Rex would win the entertainment award but that’s just wishful thinking.CM

OUT! OUT! OUT! OUT! OUT!

Text Box: With Kat gone, Mr Gross would be the typical winner of BB– someone with a unique trait.
Text Box: It’s a travesty but I’d be mighty surprised if she didn’t get top 3. Too many people think her non-existent personality is endearing.
Text Box: A sympathy vote can do wonders for final position but should not have enough steam to get further
Text Box: Should profit from Darnell’s unpopularity and sneak up. Could he get further? Hmm!
Text Box: Seems to be losing more followers everyday! It’s a shame, he’s just a very direct person.
