In a house that was full of such BB gold as Luke, Bex, Stu, Dale, Alex, Sylvia and the unforgettable Mario, these are the only lot who can win the loot. A temperamental albino, a “fictitious (to quote the previous)” Thai “cookie monster”, the Plainest Jane in the Village, the dullest Aussie you’re ever likely to see, a dominant rich kid, the worst housemate you could wish for and a blind bloke who is dirty in both mind and habit. And to think you’ve had to watch them all for the longest time ever! Slightly diverting the issue, a big BB round of applause should go to latest evictee, Lisa– one half of the best couple in its history. She overcame an awful lot in that house and passed with all the flying colours of her eccentric rainbow. The soon-to-be Mrs. Mario will no doubt reap the benefits of both the unexpected £25k windfall (who said being unpopular doesn’t pay?) and the subsequent endorsements. And both she and the self-proclaimed “Italian Stallion” have earned every penny of it. Back to the House and Big Brother are throwing all but the tired ‘New HM’ card at a house whose atmospheric flame burnt out long ago. Seriously if you’d spent three months living with people, you’d think having to name 3/21 descriptive words about them in one-and-a-half minutes might be a trifle less of an ordeal than it was. This is by no means a House brimming with intellect. But maybe they’re all just too focused on preparing their Final Week strategies (why else would you hit the hay at half ten?), as Nasty Nick put it “it’s a game show”, indeed it is. After Sara’s sympathy shot in the arm vote to oust poor Lisa, the battlefield has never been more equal, or has it? It would take a mammoth effort to overturn some of these juggernauts but coming good at the end is always useful, could get as high as 3rd. Rex on the other hand can expect little better than 5th despite being the best of the final 7. Mo should go as his rightful place at the bottom of the vote table (well Hamley’s Xmas catalogue has just come in) and I can see gross-out king Mikey leaving with him. Darnell’s outburst should see him climb no further than 4th. Dull, dull Rachel has the “nice person vote” and the walking gimmick should see off all foes to bring to an end a frustrating series.CM Text Box: Links and affiliates Contact Me Text Box: BB9 Final Positions Prediction As it’s the last week, attention turns to the final standings.
